In the season finale of the new science fiction TV series produced by 'show case' Vancouver downtown blasts in huge explosions and hundreds of pedestrains and cops run for hiding. Substituting the absent set decorator I felt honored to play a part on the last day of the 2012 season production that ended with a crew of over 400 people that included hundreds of extras and parts of Vancouver been shut down for the day of the shoot.

Late march, I was part of film shoot of The VIRTUAL STAGE Productions. 'Cruel and Unusual' tells the surreal story of Gangsters and Cops interlocked in a dark comedy about torture. Shot with an excellent crew in the infamous now film set Riverview Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam near Vancouver. This time I was the script supervisor!

Repair Man was created by The Virtual Stage for the 100 Hour Film Race 2011. We were challenged to create a short film in just 100 hours based on a theme (broken), action (pressing a button), and prop (a lollipop). Our film was awarded the third place overall! I was first assistant to the DP Michael Berz.

For the Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival the following 6 commercials were shot and produced. For the first time, I was part of the production design team which was headed by Kim Searow.

Roll on - completed in May 2011 - was a personal video project that reflects my beliefs as well as the journeys I have 'rolled through' in the last few years. It also is a farewell to my studies and life in Berlin.

The Rose of Kabul is a collaborative work of Naomi Toure and Ronny Diehl at Kmvt, Mountain View, CA.  The video is a tribute to Rosemary Stazek who inspired people with her courageous and big-hearted personality not only in California but especially in Afghanistan where she initiated and run a private charity organization until her tragic death in August 2009.

Elements of the Northwest is a video that I shot during my stay in Seattle in 2008. As part of an assignment of a class at the DXArts Department at the University of Washington I shot a video on the diverse nature of the Pacific Northwest. (the first two sequences are taken from an archiv - all the other material are shot by me)
